I am Barbie Abeles, Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. I have practiced Yoga for 20 years.
10 years ago I started traveling to India every year, even up to 2022. I have spent many months studying with the Iyengar Family in Pune, India.

In 2019 the Iyengar family took me under their tutelage and I moved to Pune for a year, to study directly under them and the rest of the RIMYI Institute teachers. This was an incredibly intense and rich experience.

Thanks to the Iyengar family’s teachings and inspiration, I continuously feel new discoveries sprouting in my self-practice and studies, which I’m always eager to share with the students in creative and dynamic ways.
